Empowering TB Clients programme

The implementation of the Enablers Packages (EnP) programme in the AOB district is to help increase the rate of patient’s adherence for better medical treatment outcome and healthy eating habits. The (EnP) for all identified TB clients included, (5Kg of Rice, 1 liter of Oil, 800Gms of Tin tomatoes 2 and 2Liter fruit juice )

The Ghana Center for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana) under the auspices of its flagship social accountability project dubbed the “I AM AWARE” project is conducted workshops on the theme: Access to data for informed evidence-based advocacy to influence policy-making in Ghana”. These workshops were intended for selected CSOs/NGOs across the country in order to improve CSO/NGO awareness of, and interest in the use of data for development advocacy.

Global Fund Malaria Project 2016

Under the Global Fund Malaria Project 2016 Keba Africa is implementing Malaria BCC activities in partnership with the Ablekuma North Sub Metro. Key Activities undertaken include; sensitization of opinion leaders social and religious groups and person with disabilities. Training of CBAs, Follow up on pregnant women on IPT, Radio Spots / Video show education on Malaria, Malaria community durbars and School, Mosque and Church Malaria educational talk.

NTP/ NFM Global Fund Project 2016

The project dubbed GHS/NTP/NFM inovative community based TB case finding project is being implement in the Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa and Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam Districts in the Central Region as part of the new global fund mechanism to address the gap between case notification, case detection and successful treatment

Keba Africa is a non profit making organization duly recognised by National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP), the Ghana AIDS Commission and the National AIDS/STI Control Program to provide Malaria, HIV/AIDS education and prevention as well as other social issues that are vital for human and social development. Keba Africa beliefs that education, information and communication should be at the heart of any successful health related prevention strategy. Educating,informing and communicating with our active workforce thus represent the only realistic way of preventing and mitigating the effects of health related diseases in Ghana. Keba Africa’s overriding objective is to provide essential malaria, TB, HIV /AIDS information and services for individuals, communities and institutions that need these services most.
